Statement
Merlin
Farm welcome guests with disabilities but we do ask guests to
bear the following in mind when considering either of our
cottages:- Treyarnon has been converted from original farm
buildings on a slightly sloping site. Some of the conversions
have taken place over a number of years, during which were no
accessibility regulations in force, but they did comply with any
building regulation requirements at the time. The car parking
and Patio areas are covered with gravel. Treyarnon has two
levels. The car park is 50 meters to the entrance of the Barn
and there is one small step into the entrance. Two of the
bedrooms, kitchen/dining and bathroom are situated on the ground
floor, on the first floor is the 3rd bedroom with ensuite and
lounge. The Beach is within walking distance of the Farm, it
takes approximately 15 minutes walk from the farm to the Beach
and is mostly grass track until the public footpath. It is a
mixture of steep downhill gradient and flat to the beach and a
mixture of flat and steep uphill gradient on the way back. There
is car parking opposite the Beach should you decide to drive
rather than walk |

Treyarnon
Treyarnon is a
two storey character converted barn. On the ground floor there
is a Kitchen / Diner, 2 bedrooms (double & twin) and a
wetroom bathroom. On the first floor is the lounge and Master
double bedroom ensuite.
The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic top double oven, fridge
freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washing
machine with dryer in the cottage.
For our guest's convenience bathrooms have illuminated shaving
mirrors with shaver point, and all bedrooms have a hairdryer and
TV/DVD.
The cottage is heated by gas central
heating and has a woodburner. Bed Linen and towels are provided
(not beach towels).
Outside
is an enclosed gravel garden with wooden
picnic bench overlooking the countryside.
Baby gear:
On request we can provide 1 each of the
following: travel cot, highchair, changing mat and fireguard.
Guests are welcome to bring their own travel cot for further
infants (max 2). There is a baby gate fitted at the top of the
stairs, and a door at the bottom. A bottom sheet is provided for
the cot but we request you provide babys own blankets, etc.
Wifi and
Mobile Phone Signal : Wifi
is available at no extra charge but unfortunately we can not
guarantee this service 100% of the time, due to unreliability at
the St Mawgan Exchange. If internet service is essential we
advise providing your own dongle / mobile internet. Due to our
rural location mobile signal can be patchy. Orange/T-Mobile
offers the best reception inside the cottages.
Strictly no
Smoking inside the Cottages
Families and
Couples only
Please
note that since 2012 the occupancy
rate has been reduced from 8 to 6. Removal of the single beds in
both double bedrooms will provide more space within the room for
our guests, giving ample room for a cot if required. Please bear
this in mind when viewing the 360 tour as this was produced
prior to the occupancy change.
